
Dr. Martin is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine. Dr. Martin has expertise in shoulder, elbow and knee arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of
Illinois. Dr. Martin completed his orthopaedic surgical training at the acclaimed Henry Ford
Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Following Dr. Martin's residency, he was honored with a Sports Medicine Fellowship with Dr. J.R. Steadman of the world renowned Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado.
Dr. Martin is a former team physician for the Arizona
Diamondbacks professional baseball team.
He has participated on the medical team for the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Redwings.
Dr. Martin is a published author and speaker on topics in orthopedics. His current research projects include evaluation, treatment and prevention of golf injuries.
Dr. Martin is board certified by the American Board of
Orthopaedic Surgery. He is an active Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic
Surgeons, a member of the Western Orthopaedic Association, and a Founding Member of the Orthopaedic Surgeons Network of Arizona. Dr. Martin has been honored by Phoenix Magazine as a "Top Doc" in orthopedic surgery.
